I can’t begin to tell you the love affair that I have with this sweet, syrupy, golden nectar…an affair that started many moons ago and even survived the gut-wrenching news of it’s origins.  The other love of my life is none other than honey!  It fits my Flexitarian journey quite well and happens to be the fave of one of my adored Goddess: Orisa Osun.  Sweetness!  And if that’s not enough, the brilliant and enlightened people of Kemet/Ancient Egypt believed honey had an eternal quality and gave a boost to sexual, lover’s energy…..and guess what? They’re right! Even they knew about Tantric Taste :)

Kitchen Chemist Star: Honey

Why it Matters: Besides being a Powerhouse: natural energy booster, an immune system builder, a natural preservative, a soothing remedy for burns and other ailments, an anti-aging nectar and a humectant helping moisturize skin and hair…. it tastes SWEEEEEEEEEET and I love it!
