Chocolate Indulgent Love Cake
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup spelt flour
  • 1 cup succanat
  • 3/4 cup water &  1/4 cup coconut milk mixed
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a heart shaped pan with coconut oil and line the bottom with parchment paper cut to fit the pan snugly.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  4. In a smaller bowl, mix together the vinegar, vanilla, coconut oil, and coconut water/milk mixture.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until well blended and smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick or thin knife blade inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
